MAC's Viva Glam Rihanna Lipstick and Lipglass: A Red Lip Combo That's Red-y for Anything - Makeup and Beauty Blog

Sure, carmine lips are classic and timeless and they never go out of manner. True, true and true. But, oh! — I would have love to have worn MAC Viva Glam Rihanna Lipstick ($xvi) and Lipglass ($15) over the holidays.
Sadly, they hadn't been around then considering they're newer than that.
Equally members of the MAC Viva Glam family unit of gorgeous products, 100 percent of the gain from the sale of MAC Viva Glam Rihanna Lipsticks and Lipglasses get to support the MAC AIDS Fund, which helps women, children and men living with HIV/AIDS.
As yous may expect, Tabs is finicky about the cerise lipsticks he allows his pet assistants to habiliment, but he loves this intense blueish cherry (he as well wishes it had been available over the holidays because information technology matches his red sequined Christmas outfit perfectly…).
The other day, my buddy Marisol asked me if I considered this Lipstick and Lipglass combo "must have," and ya know, I do. Must. Accept. A thousand times over. 🙂

Both of them rock on their own, only together — well, accept a deep jiff earlier you look in the mirror because their rich, sparkly scarlet deliciousness will have your breath away.
I'd definitely recommend lining your lips first, though. Both of them are, as y'all can probably tell, hella pigmented, and I think they're hard to freehand without something to human action as a bulwark around the edges of your lip line.
I tried applying the lipstick without a liner and ended upwardly with lipstick all over the place… I looked like that crazy clown from that Stephen King novel (what was that ane chosen?). Of form, correct when this happened, one of the contractors working outside looked up at my window, and I apace scooted out of the manner like an apparition in an quondam horror motion-picture show, haha! OF Course.
So I experimented with a few pencils and actually liked the mode MAC'due south Pro Longwear Lip Pencil in Trust in Ruby works with both of these colors. It'due south a cool red with a creamy finish, and I think information technology goes well with VGR'southward cool blueish blood-red tones.

First, I line my lips with Trust in Cherry-red, so feather out the edges with a finger. I do a layer of Viva Glam Rihanna (applied directly from the tube), and top it with the matching Lipglass. It's an extra step, but I like that lovely border.
If you're ready for these reds, Viva Glam Rihanna Lipstick and Lipglass are available now at MAC stores and maccosmetics.com.
I wonder if RiRi would appreciate this…

Because I totally do, hahaha! This is from kittiesandbullshit.com, a website filled with funny drawings of cats and song lyrics.
So, basically, information technology'due south my dream come true.
Right?!
I hear the site's been around a while, merely I didn't know about information technology, and you lot know what they say, right? Ignorance of cat-themed sense of humor is true cat lady elation. 🙂

Karen
